Lavender Lake Cleaning Co. - Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, NO-SHOW & WALKTHROUGH POLICY

At Lavender Lake Cleaning Co., we understand that life can be unpredictable. To ensure fairness and maintain reliable service for all clients, the following policies apply:

Walkthrough Policy
A walkthrough is required before your first cleaning or after a lapse in service of two (2) months or more, or as otherwise deemed necessary. Walkthroughs typically last 15–30 minutes and allow our team to evaluate your home, review priorities, and create a tailored cleaning plan.

Missed Walkthroughs / Access Issues

  • If you are not present or our team cannot access the home at the scheduled time, the walkthrough will be considered a no-show.

  • The $50 nonrefundable deposit will be retained.

  • A secondary walkthrough must be scheduled at an additional fee.

Walkthrough cancellations or reschedules follow the same guidelines below.

Service Payment & Cancellation Window
Full payment for the scheduled cleaning is required at the time of booking and prior to scheduling the walkthrough.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment without penalty.

 

Cancellation Fees

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: No fee

  • 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of total service cost

  • Less than 24 hours or same-day cancellations: 100% of total service cost

Rescheduling

  • Walkthroughs or cleaning appointments may be rescheduled without penalty if requested at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Reschedule requests within 24–48 hours may incur a 50% fee if a suitable new appointment cannot be accommodated.

  • Same-day reschedules are treated as a full-service charge unless otherwise approved.

No-Show / Lockout Policy
If our team cannot access the property or no one is present at the scheduled time without prior notice, it is considered a no-show. No-show fees equal 100% of the scheduled service, and the $50 deposit is retained.

Access Requirements
Clients must provide safe, unobstructed access via key, entry code, or in-person presence. Pets and valuables should be secured.

  • If access is not provided for the scheduled walkthrough, the $50 deposit is retained, and a secondary walkthrough will require an additional fee.

Emergency Situations
We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible. We may offer a one-time exception or reschedule without penalty at our discretion.

Communication & Refunds
All cancellations, reschedules, or issues regarding walkthroughs must be communicated through official channels—phone, email, or the online portal—and are only valid once confirmed by our team.

  • Cancellation and no-show fees are non-refundable.

  • In exceptional cases, service credit toward a future booking may be offered at our discretion.

By booking services with Lavender Lake Cleaning Co., you acknowledge and agree to these policies. Policies may be updated at any time, with updates communicated to clients in advance.
