These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Lavender Lake Cleaning Co. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing the use of our residential cleaning services.

By booking a service with Lavender Lake Cleaning Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Lavender Lake Cleaning Co. provides residential cleaning services within New York City. The scope of services includes standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and other offerings as described on our website or service descriptions.


We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service offering at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking and Access Requirements

Clients may schedule services via our website, phone, or email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.


It is the Client’s responsibility to provide safe, unobstructed access to the premises at the scheduled time. Failure to provide access may result in cancellation fees (see Section 6).

3. Pricing and Payment

All fees are listed in U.S. Dollars and are due at the time of booking or upon completion of services, depending on the service agreement. We accept payment via credit/debit card, electronic transfer, or other methods as specified on our website.

Rates are subject to change at our sole discretion, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed rate.

​

4. Satisfaction Guarantee and Service Limitations

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the service, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of the appointment. We may offer a re-clean or credit at our discretion.
We do not guarantee the removal of all stains or damage. Certain surfaces or materials may have limitations and may not respond to cleaning.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client shall:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the property.

  • Remove valuables, fragile items, and clutter prior to service.

  • Secure pets or animals during service.

  • Notify us of any hazardous conditions (e.g., mold, infestations, or biohazards).

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a cleaner feels unsafe or encounters hazardous conditions.

​

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Fees

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost. Same-day cancellations or lockouts may result in full service charges. Repeated cancellations may result in suspension of services.

7. Damages and Liability

Lavender Lake Cleaning Co. carries liability insurance and takes reasonable care in the performance of services. However, in the event of accidental damage, the Client must notify us within 24 hours of service.
Our liability shall be limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the item, up to a maximum of $500 per incident, unless otherwise required by law.

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear.

  • Improper installation of items or fixtures.

  • Items not properly secured (e.g., shelves, pictures, curtain rods).

  • Natural deterioration of surfaces due to age or exposure.

8. Insurance and Bonding

All employees and contractors are covered by general liability insurance. Information about our coverage is available upon request.

9. Independent Contractors

In some cases, services may be performed by independent contractors. Lavender Lake Cleaning Co. ensures that all contractors meet our professional standards and insurance requirements. You agree not to solicit or employ our contractors directly for a period of 12 months following your last service without written consent.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, labor shortages, illness, pandemic, government orders, or transportation delays.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from these Terms or services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York County, NY, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
